- Shaykh Akram Abu Ghoush
This is an extensive course covering over 10 books in Kalam and Mantiq, designed for students who are committed to a thorough and deep exploration of Islamic theology. The program runs for 2.5 years and is divided into structured terms, with strict academic and behavioral expectations.
Admission and Requirements
- Students will be required to adhere to strict guidelines concerning attendance, general behavior, and academic performance.
- There will be formal contracts signed by students upon registration, and an official registry will be maintained to monitor absences during lessons. Repeated or unexplained absences will not be tolerated.
Examinations and Performance Monitoring
- At the end of each term, students will undergo a rigorous examination. The purpose of these examinations is to ensure comprehension and commitment to the material studied.
- Failure to meet the academic standards or maintain proper conduct throughout the year may result in one of two outcomes:
- Repetition of the Year: Students who demonstrate effort but do not achieve the required academic performance will be given the chance to repeat the year.
- Advisement to Exit: Students who consistently underperform or fail to show the necessary dedication will be advised to leave the program, as it may not be suited to their current level of comprehension.
Arabic Language Proficiency
Students are expected to demonstrate some level of Arabic reading and comprehension. While teachers will ensure that general translations of complex texts are given, translation will not always be utilized, and in some cases, certain teachers may not provide translations at all. This means that a basic understanding of Arabic is essential for following along in lessons.
